FNC vestibular disorders center channels its clinical efforts toward improving the lives and health of patients with dizziness, vertigo, disequilibrium and unsteady gait. Our clinical focus is to diagnose and treat the challenging and frustrating problems of patients with blurred or double vision, and of patients with dizziness, vertigo, imbalance and falls. These symptoms, while not often life threatening, are often profoundly life altering, leading to extreme disability and impaired quality of life.

We combine bioengineering and physiological measuring techniques with state-of-the-art brain MRI and video electronystagmography (VENG) to learn how the brain responds to disease, and how we can facilitate the ability of the brain to compensate for disease, through new rehabilitation techniques or drug treatment. Our vestibular disorders group all share the same mission, to help patients with disturbances of vision and balance, both in the clinic and with our research endeavors.
